Customer Technical Support Services

Whether at your site, via phone or Web support, the PlantStar Technical Support Staff can offer our customer base immediate and on-going consultation and advice on system problems and operation.  PlantStar is dedicated to ensuring the continuous operation of its systems installed in the field.

South Bend Technical Center


PlantStar maintains a support organization in its South Bend call center to address customer problems and questions.  Standard support is available from 8 AM EST to 5:30 PM EST Monday through Friday.  This group offers both hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.  Additional hours and days are available by means of an extended support contract.

Field Support Services


PlantStar customer support services are not limited only to telephone or Web support.  PlantStar has developed a team of Field Engineering personnel who are dedicated to the support of our products and systems in the field.  This available on-site training, consulting, implementation and installation service is designed to ensure the most effective customer use of our suite of products in their manufacturing environment.

Custom Engineering System Solutions


As part of our continuing efforts to maximize the effectiveness of our tools in the customers manufacturing environment, PlantStar has created a custom engineering group, CanDataX that provides customized solutions for specific customer needs.  With CanData you drive the solution to fit your needs rather than bending your needs to fit a standard solution.  Whether a standalone solution or as a compliment to our industry proven PlantStar systems, we have the solutions.

CanData has adopted the philosophy of utilizing industry recognized and tested development tools to rapidly deliver robust, comprehensive and customized solutions for its clients.  We have combined the flexibility and technology of a world supplier of system development tools, InduSoft with the electronic modules and micro electronic technology of Peak Systems.  The partnership of our companies provides us the tools to design, develop and deliver cost effective and timely hardware and software solutions for our users.
