 Operator/HMI Terminal
Manufacturing information has to be available at all levels of your staff including the floor supervisor, machine operator, maintenance personnel and all those that are required to retrieve, view and enter data at the machine level. PlantStar has engineered a completely new HMI interface providing a flexible web-based approach using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Shop-floor personnel now have the flexibility to access not only a particular machine’s information, but also access key data for any machine across the entire plant floor or data stored on other corporate systems.
 This web-based approach provides for expanded features and functions not available from other systems. Product and quality pictures or graphic and PDF files along with manufacturing and quality inspection instructions can be viewed on large touch screen HMI terminals. Each browser page has been designed to minimize the number of keystrokes necessary for your personnel to interact with the system while gaining the maximum amount of information on the shop floor.
The user can utilize existing shop floor PCs to serve as the HMI terminals for the system with the added functionality of being able to design and implement their own web-based operator pages for their particular needs.
